Rift is it possible to change souls
You can only spend your level's worth of points in a soul, i. The extra points you get every third level must be spent elsewhere.
At level 50 when you have 66 total points, you must have points in additional souls. Originally Posted by Cracklepop. There is too a restriction of sorts. I don't know how this affects later point allocation or what the limit is of point placed per level. This brings up another question Can you just level up one soul only? Maybe I want to be just a solid Ranger. I am reading this thread and it looks like alot has been covered without me making a second post. That being said I would like clarification on something.
I have a character that I initially spec'd as: Chloromancer primary Elementalist secondary and Dominator third. I didn't really care for how this was working out so wanted to go instead as: Pyromancer primary , Elementalist secondary , and Necromancer third. I went to my trainer and bought another soul set.
I switched over, and saw that I could only use the initial 3 I already have. I was under the impression that if I wanted to switch out one or more roles without having to roll another character altogether all I would have to do once I brought up the secondary soul set, would be to put my primary one in first, and in the second and third trees, click a drop down menu that would show all the subclasses and not just the 3 I initially started out with.
That being the case, I am using my second set but only utilizing Elementalist as my primary for now since I can't use all the points without leveling up. And the only choices I have for my secondary and third souls, are the ones I initially got. My character is level 10 atm, so do I just wait till I get to the main city of Sanctum, hit level 13 and get a quest from someone to give me access to the secondary and third souls I actually want? Thank you for your time Tas. Last edited by Tasinahri; at PM.

Each Calling class has access to 9 souls talent trees. Improve this answer. Sorean Sorean So I can change my soul settings at any time? Like un-learning my talents in WoW? So I won't get punished in late game for picking crappy souls early? You can reset your souls in from a skill trainer at a cost - just like in WoW. Wipqozn is correct, you can reset talents at any time when you visit a trainer. Not all of them optimal though. Sign up or log in Sign up using Google.
